Akame Ga Kill (5)

Akame Ga Kill, the first anime that made me shed a tear. Akame Ga kill is a fictional world ruled by a corrupt empire. The anime centers around Tatsumi, a young swordsman who travels to the capital hoping to join the army and earn money for his destitute village.

Tatsumi immediately changes his plans when he sees the cruelness of the capital, he meets a group of assassins known as the Night Raid, who dedicate their life to overthrow the empire and bring justice to the land. As a member of the Night Raid, Tatsumi takes on multiple dangerous missions and battles against powerful enemies while uncovering dark secrets about the empire.

This anime taught me an important lesson,” you don’t always win or get what you desire in life.” It also taught me about the consequences of revenge. Many characters seeked revenge, but their pursuit of vengeance often led to further destruction which led to further violence.

Naruto (4)

Naruto, arguably known as the best anime of all time. The story takes place in a world where chakra is everything, chakra is a type of energy which allows users to perform various ninja techniques. The series centers around the adventures of Naruto Uzumaki, the next Hokage, the leader of the village! Naurto was born as an outcast among his village, he would cause trouble for attention, as that’s the only attention he ever received. This is due because he carries the Nine tailed fox demon inside him, the fox is a demon which destroys almost anything in its path, and has the ability to carry almost infinite amounts of chakra. Despite Naruto’s abnormal appearance, he is determined to prove himself and become a respectable ninja.

Naruto was the first anime I’ve ever watched. It sparked my interest to continue and watch more animes in the future. The show highlights the importance of grit and not giving up, no matter how difficult or impossible the obstacle may seem, Naruto pushes forward with an unwavering determination and positive mindset. Naruto was never naturally gifted, but he makes up for it with his hard work and perseverance. With him and his shadow clones, he trains tirelessly to improve his skills and become a better ninja.

Haikyuu (3)

Haikyu is a volleyball anime, the story follows Shoyo Hinata, a short boy who can fly. Despite his small appearance, Hinata joins his High School volleyball team, Karasuno HS, and forms a rivalry with his setter, Tobio Kageyama, a talented setter who has quick reaction time and can adapt to any spiker. The two players train hard and compete against other high school teams, however, along the way, they encounter many tough obstacles and injuries while competing in nationals. The show is known for its teamwork, determination and heart beating volleyball matches.

Haikyu inspired me to play volleyball, it inspired me to work harder, train harder and become a respectable volleyball player! Someone who can spike the ball so hard, the defensive team won’t have time to react! The king of the chess board!

 One Piece (2)

One piece is a very popular anime which follows the adventures of Monkey D. Luffy, a young pirate with the Gum-Gum-Fruit, the Gum Gum fruit allows the user to stretch their body like rubber. Luffy travels around the east blue searching for strong members to build his crew, he encounters future members of his crew: Zoro, Nami, Sanji, Choppa, Jimbei, Ussop, Brook, Nico Robin and Frankey through dangerous adventures. Along with his crew, the Straw Hat pirates led by Luffy travels the world in search of the One Piece, the ultimate treasure which will give the finder the title of the Pirate King. Throughout the series, Luffy and his crew members fight many dangerous Warlords, strongest of the strongest pirates, and battle through the treacherous sea. Luffy and his friends discover the true meaning of hard work and loyalty.

One Piece was my first anime I ever watched, and this astonishing creation inspired me to work harder and build new friendships. The show highlights the importance of friendships and perseverance, two valuable words which I hope to have in my adventures in High School

(P.S, new episodes come out every Saturday at 9PM) (The new episodes are a must watch!)

Black Clover Review (1)

Black Clover, a fantasy adventurous world where magic is everything. Two orphaned boys, Asta and Yuno, are raised together in a small church at Little Hage Village. Even though Asta was born without magical abilities, he was determined to become the Wizard King, the highest rank wizard in the country, the greatest man ever! Asta knew from a young age that he would be the Wizard King! When they turn 15, both boys receive a grimoire, a magical book which allows the user to cast unique spells. Yuno obtains the best grimoire given to humans, the four leaf clover, a symbol of great magic power, while Asta receives the five leaf grimoire, the useless grimoire with no magical power. Asta trained 10x as hard as before, increasing his physical strength while practicing to be a swordsman. Determined to prove himself, and become the Wizard King, Asta joins a group of powerful wizards, who are known throughout the country to have destructive behavior, the Black Bulls, led by captain Yami. Asta learns many new skills throughout his time with the Black Bulls, and he eventually embarks on dangerous missions and battles dangerous enemies. As Asta vastly increases his strength, Yuno grows even stronger and becomes extremely skilled in using magic, with their hard working skills and determination, both boys become power wizards and fight to defend their kingdom from powerful and dangerous enemies.

Black clover changed my mind-set about motivation and determination. It taught me that motivation is useless without discipline, motivation will only take you 1% of the way, while discipline and determination will take you 110% of the way. It taught me you must win, whatever it takes, and keep calm with a clear head.
